Shalaka is associated with Grassroots for more than 8 years and has worked on various projects of stakeholder due diligence, brand valuation etc. Shalaka has an overall experience of more than 16 years in working in the area of Institutional and retail sales and marketing. Shalaka has worked with leading corporates such as Samsung, Philips, ABN Amro, Standard Chartered Bank. She has strong entrepreneurial energy and nurtures an upcoming F&B venture.
Gautam is an engineer from NIT Rourkela and has a Masters in Marketing from JBIMS Mumbai. Gautam has diverse experience of 18 years spanning Manufacturing, FMCG, Banking & Hospitality.
Gautam leads the Knowledge initiatives especially in the Brand Valuation area and has a cross-industry understanding of learning spaces. He has a strong understanding of multi-platform knowledge delivery mechanisms.
Gautam is keenly interested in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. He is a visiting lecturer at NMIMS University Mumbai and teaches a course on Marketing for Entrepreneurs. He is also a Learning & Development Consultant with Hindustan Unilever Ltd and has conducted various workshops on Sales Motivation, Team Building & Conflict Management.
Gautam is passionate about emerging technology and how that combines with Food Services sector. He has founded and continues to nurture a strong hospitality service. Prior to foraying into the Food & Beverage sector as an entrepreneur Gautam worked with Britannia and Standard Chartered Bank.
Vineet is the founding partner of Grassroots. Vineet has over 25 years of experience in the field of Brand Valuation, Stakeholder Due Diligence, Understanding Brands, Business Mentoring, Marketing and Sales & Distribution. He has worked on various projects in industries such as Engineering, Stocks and Commodity exchanges, financial organizations, Health Care, Construction, Construction Material and Hospitality etc. In these years Vineet got the opportunity to work with companies such as Taj Hotels, Tata Motors, Godrej Consumer Products, Godrej Properties, Raymonds Brands, Lafarge, Essar, L&T Finance, BSE, NCDEX, IFMR Capital, Tafe, Sakal Media Group and many more in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. In his pre-Grassroots days, Vineet worked with companies such as Philips, Novartis, Parle Products, Nivea and Boots in the area of Marketing, Sales & Distribution.
Vineet is a science graduate from Pune University and has done his MBA Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) Pune. He is also has been a visiting faculty to institutes such as SIBM Pune, Pune University MBA Program and Kirloskar Institute of Advance Management Studies.
Ajimon is a founding partner of Grassroots. Ajimon has over 22 years of experience in the field of Brand Valuation, Stakeholder Due Diligence, Understanding Brands, Business Mentoring, Marketing and Sales & Distribution. He has worked on various projects in industries such as Capital Markets, Financial Services, NBFCs, Engineering Services, Core Manufacturing, F&B sectors, Hospitality, Health Care, Construction Material etc. In these projects Ajimon got experience of working with companies such as Tata group, Amalgamation group, UB group, Raymonds group, Lafarge, L&T Finance, Essar, BSE, NCDEX, IFMR Capital, Tafe, Sakal Media Group and many more in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. In his pre-Grassroots days, Ajimon has worked with companies such as Rasna and Philips in the area of Marketing, Sales and Distribution.
